Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw third baseman
Emily Timberman '24 (Fishers, Ind./Cathedral) has been selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America First Team.
Timberman, who was a first team NFCA all-region choice, finished the season with a .448 batting average while tying the program's single-season home run record with 14. She also drove in 50 runs and set the program single-season record with an .848 slugging percentage. She was a
first team all-North Coast Athletic Conference selection earlier this month.
Since 2007, eight DePauw student-athletes have earned a total of 11 NFCA all-America accolades.
DePauw finished the season with a 30-16-1 overall record including a record ninth NCAC regular season title and a record seventh NCAC Tournament championship. The Tigers advanced to the championship game of the NCAA Division III regional round.
