Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's tennis team fell to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 7-2 at home and moved to 4-5 for the season, while the Warhawks improved to 9-2.
Wisconsin-Whitewater took a 2-0 lead in doubles after Payton Adkisson and Theo Billson defeated
Teagen Crow and
Samuele Pia 8-3 on court three, and Reuben Giorgio and Luke VanDonslear beat
Ryan McCook and
Chase Hutchinson 8-3 on court one. The Tigers would cut the Warhawks lead in half following
Wils Warren and
Hudson Mosher's 8-6 victory over Drew Van Fossen and Josh Baldwin on court two.
Unfortunately for DePauw, Wisconsin dominated in its singles matches, winning courts two through six. The Tigers' lone singles match winner was
Samuele Pia, who defeated Luke VanDonslear 6-2, 7-5 on court one.
