Chicago, Ill. - DePauw moved to 4-2 on the season and extended its win streak to three with a 4-2 win at Illinois Tech. The Scarlet Hawks slipped to 2-3 on the season.
DePauw took a 2-0 lead in the first as
Jack Neff and
Beckett Tasker scored for the Tigers.The hosts evened the count in the second on scores from Reed Tangeman and Jackson Brass with the latter score coming with 4:32 left in the first half.
Tasker delivered the eventual game winner with 3:35 remaining in the half before
Connor Gibson added the final score with 1:19 left in the half.
Matthew Roman paced DePauw with six ground balls and with wins on seven of eight faceoffs.
Charlie Rodriguez caused two turnovers in the victory.
Henry Rankin's five ground balls and three caused turnovers led the Scarlet Hawks.

Anthony Reinhardt stopped 11 Illinois Tech shots while Kyle Johnson also saved 11.
Illinois Tech held a 33-29 edge in shots with DePauw leading, 15-13, in shots on goal. The Tigers committed 24 turnovers to the Scarlet Hawks' 27 with DePauw totaling 26 ground balls to Illinois Tech's 21.
DePauw travels to Hanover on Wednesday, March 20, for a 7 p.m. contest.
