Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw women's tennis team lost 9-0 to #2 University of Chicago at home. The Tigers dropped to 0-2 for the season, while the Maroons improved to 3-0.
 
Chicago jumped to a 3-0 lead following the doubles matches. The Maroon's Sarena Biria and Brook Pedersen defeated Katie King and Alex Preston 8-1 on court three, followed by Chicago's Oliwia Mikos and Rena Lin beating Kat Wilder and Ellen Gardner on court one 8-2. The Maroons completed the doubles sweep when Nika Vesely and Lauren Khou beat Kassie Green and Valerie Doherty 8-3.
 
In singles play #2, Chicago continued to pull away with the match, ultimately securing all six singles matches to blank the Tigers at home.
