Terre Haute, Ind.: Paced by senior duo Jacob Kissling and Brennan Jensen's ninth and tenth-place finishes, the DePauw men's cross country team totaled 83 points and finished third among nine schools at the North Coast Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships. Last year's runner-up, Oberlin College, won the 2024 championship with 41 points, and Wittenberg University came in second with 51.
Kissling and Jensen ran as a pair throughout most of the 8,000-meter course. Kissling covered the course in 26:13.54, followed closely by Jensen, who finished with a time of 26.21.46, earning them second-team all-NCAC honors.Â
Also earning all-conference accolades were Matt Vennemann and Matt Rowley, who were named to the third team after finishing 16th and 17th. Vennemann finished with a time of 26:32.95, while Rowley finished with a time of 26:37.69.
Rounding out the Tigers' top seven finishers was Max Morgan (31st, 27:25.10), followed by first years Ian Ross (33rd, 27:34.35), and Dominick Dell (45th, 27:59.14). For complete team results, click here.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, November 16, competing in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional in Shelbyville, Ind.
