Shelbyville, Ind.: The DePauw men's cross country team took ninth place at the Division III Great Lakes Regional, totaling 273 points, and improving its overall finish from last year by nine spots. Calvin secured first place with a total of 99 points, followed by John Carrol with 112, and Hope College in third with 129.
Senior
Matt Vennemann led the Tigers to its best finish since 2021, finishing 19th with a time of 25:30.63, earning him All-Region honors.
Brennan Jensen finished in 25:54.78 for 39th, followed closely by
Jacob Kissling, who finished 40th with a time of 25:55.53.
The Tigers' final four were
Matt Rowley, who finished 63rd (26:18.78), fellow senior
Max Morgan finished the course in 27:04.21 for 112th, followed by first-year runners
Dominick Dell (152nd, 27:38.78), and
Ian Ross (153rd, 27:38.80).
DePauw wrapped their season on a high note, finishing third in the NCAC Championships and recording a top-ten team finish at regionals.
