Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw moved to 11-6 overall and 1-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-13) win over visiting Wooster. The Fighting Scots dropped to 8-11 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
The Tigers outhit Wooster, .255-.010 and were paced by
Kaiden Harrington's nine kills as DePauw held a 39-21 advantage. Amelia Mitchell led the Fighting Scots with nine kills.
Olivia Karwin paced DePauw with 16 assists and
Kendall Herrick chipped in 13. Emma Fleck had a team-high 18 for Wooster.
Grace Myers had four of the Tigers' 11 aces, while Tamara Turner, Jordan Laraway and Catherine Muzilla each had two of Wooster's nine.
Myers led DePauw's defensive effort with 16 digs while
Jen Proeh finished with three blocks. Lucy Kinser's 11 digs led the Fighting Scots as did Mitchell's two blocks.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 12, with a 1 p.m. match at Hiram.
