Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw shot a season-high 53.4 percent from the field and improved to 14-5 overall and 7-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with a 79-29 win over visiting Kenyon. The Owls dropped to 3-16 overall and 1-7 in league play.
After gaining a 13-6 lead after the opening period, the Tigers scored 12 straight during a stretch of the second quarter on the way to a 32-15 halftime lead.
DePauw closed the third period with a 14-2 run and scored the first 15 points of the final stanza to seal the win.
In all, 14 DePauw players scored led by
Riley Mont's 18.
Olivia Hart grabbed five rebounds and
Tori Allen had four assists.
Mikayla Rudolph led Kenyon with 10 points with Claudia Cooke grabbing seven rebounds.
Included in DePauw's 53.4 percent field goal shooting was 7-of-17 shooting from beyond the arc, while Kenyon shot 20.5 percent from the floor. The Tigers held a 37-21 rebounding edge and had 15 turnovers to Kenyon's 27.
