Greencastle, Ind.- Â The DePauw women's soccer team remains undefeated at home after beating Asbury University 3-0 on senior day. The Tigers improve to 7-2-2 for the season, while the Eagles dropped to 1-5-2 overall.Â

It took senior midfielder
Annalise Grammel 25 seconds to score the Tigers' first goal of the afternoon. Grammel beat her defender down the left side and followed a deflected shot right into the back of the Eagles net.

DePauw's second goal of the afternoon came in the 48th minute when Grammel crossed a ball to the center of the goalie box, where fellow senior
Whitney Wells was waiting, and headed it into the top left corner.

Up 2-0 with over 40 minutes left in recollection, the Tigers continued to put pressure on the Eagles' backline. DePauw would finally break through in the 62nd minute when
Ashley Green powered through Asbury's defense and shot a rocket to put the Tigers up by three.

Senior goalkeeper
Mallory Mundy played over half of the game in goal for the Tigers, and teammate
Aubree Empie closed out the game, completing DePauw's shutout with one save. Asbury's Violette Moore finished the afternoon with three saves.

DePauw travels to Hiram, Ohio, on Saturday, October 7, to face Hiram College at 1 p.m.
