Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship semifinals following a 5-0 quarterfinal win over Wooster. The Tigers improved to 10-7 and face Kenyon in tomorrow's 3 p.m. semifinal match. The Fighting Scots finished their season at 6-13.
The Tigers swept the doubles points as the number-one team of
Thomas Partridge and
Ryan McCook topped Patrick Johnson and Gabriel Escobar by an 8-1 score before the second team of
Cole Metzger and
Hudson Mosher defeated Shivam Dewan and Namit Misra, 8-3. The third-doubles squad of
Jake Watson and
Finley Buelte were 8-6 victors over Alex Drewes and Connor Streeter.
DePauw wrapped up the match as
Grayson Zylstra defeated Streeter 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles and Metzger wrapped up the win with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Misra.
