Granville, Ohio- A late scoring surge in the third period was not enough for DePauw women's lacrosse in its 15-8 loss to the Denison Big Red on the road. The Tigers moved to 9-3 overall and 1-2 in North Coast Athletic Conference play, while Big Red improved to 6-8 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
The Big Red asserted dominance over the Tigers early, putting in three goals with over half of the first period left. Junior attack
Graesen Campbell responded in kind with a goal for DePauw with 6:23 left in the period off a feed by

Bridget Driscoll at the start of the third period kept the Tigers in the game. Despite DePauw's efforts to tick away at Denison's seven-goal differential, the Big Red took advantage of won draw controls and scored on the transition, ultimately putting the game away after scoring three in the final period blanking the Tigers in draw control possessions.
Emily Napier led the Tigers with three goals, Campbell added two, and
Quinn Tegenkamp,
Abby Keane, and Driscoll each had one. Randolph recorded three assists, and Driscoll tallied two of the five caused turnovers for the evening.
