Greencastle, Ind.-The DePauw women's tennis team closed its regular season play by sweeping the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan, 9-0 at home. The Tigers improve to 5-14 for the season and 1-5 in NCAC play, while the Battling Bishops drop to 9-8 overall and 0-6 in conference play.

Ellen Gardner and
Kat Wilder earned the first victory for the Tigers on court two, beating Ohio Wesleyan's Kaitlyn Quinn and Emma Zajac 8-2.
Valerie Doherty and
Alex Preston tacked on another win for DePauw after defeating Riley Brokaw and Maisie Dugger on court three, 8-4.
Sonal Matta and
Kiley Shaw outlasted Katie Lee and Shanzay Ali on court one to put the Tigers up 3-0 after beating the Battling Bishop pair 8-7 (7-5).

In singles play, the Tigers dominated the courts. Doherty beat Zajac 6-0, 6-0 on court four, followed by Wilder's 6-0, 6-3 win over Quinn on court three to clinch the victory for DePauw. On court one, Gardner beat Lee 6-4, 6-0, and on court two, Matta defeated Ali 6-2, 6-2.

In the final two matchups of the afternoon, Shaw defeated Brokaw 6-0, 6-2 on court five, and completing the sweep for the Tigers was
Franny Werner on court six; she beat Ryleigh Tillman 6-1, 6-2 on court six.

DePauw travels to Denison University for the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. The three-day tournament kicks off on Friday, April 21, where the Tigers will take on the Wittenberg University Tigers at 1 p.m. as the sixth and third seed, respectively.
