Seguin, Texas - Fourth-ranked Texas Lutheran blanked DePauw in both ends of a doubleheader and swept the Tigers by scores of 8-0 and 3-0. The Bulldogs improved to 21-3, while the Tigers dropped to 4-13.
In the opener, the Tigers loaded the bases with one out in the first, but a double play ended the Tigers' scoring threat.
The Bulldogs countered with one in the bottom of the first and then took control with a seven-run third in a game shortened the five innings due to the run rule.
Emily Timberman had two of DePauw's four hits, while Linzee Leal had three of the Bulldogs' 10. Serena Gonzalez drove in four including a three-run homer.
Megan Asher took the loss, while Ashtyn Strother picked up the complete game win.

In the nightcap, the hosts scored one in the first and two in the fifth. The Tigers loaded the bases in the sixth, but came up empty.
Alyssa Anderson had two of DePauw's six hits, while Bailey Hudgeons had two of Texas Lutheran's five hits.
Kersten Brayton took the loss and Sydney Ouellette earned the win.
DePauw travels to Trinity for a 7 p.m. CDT single game tomorrow.
