Angola, Ind. - DePauw grabbed a 5-1 lead midway through the second period, but host Trine scored three in the second and outscored the Tigers, 4-1, in the second half for an 8-6 win over the Tigers. DePauw dropped to 2-2, while the Thunder improved to 4-0.
Four different Tigers scored as DePauw built a 5-1 lead with 8:32 left in the first half. Trine responded with four straight to even the count at 5-5 with 11:30 remaining in the third.
Beckett Tasker stopped the run with an unassisted goal with 9:10 left in the third, but that was the Tigers' final goal of the game as Trine finished on a 3-0 run.

Connor Gibson each scored twice for DePauw with
Eli Federman assisting on three. Charlie Anderson, Peter Piccillo and Noah Markus each scored twice for Trine with Andrew Douglas and Samuel Achor each assisting twice.
Anthony Reinhardt recorded 21 saves in goal for DePauw, while Nick DiPaolo finished with eight for the Thunder.
Jack Kneisley won six faceoffs for DePauw and recorded four ground balls. Jack Konicek won nine faceoffs for Trine with Zachary Norris scooping up five ground balls.
Trine held a 50-36 edge in shots and 28-21 in ground balls with each team committing 15 turnovers.
The Tigers host Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday, March 18, at 1 p.m.
