Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw guard
Mya Shannon (Sr., Morris, Ill./Morris) has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for her performances in wins over Denison (66-54) and Oberlin (88-78, 1ot). The honor is the second of her career.
For the week, Shannon averaged 19.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals. SHe connected on 14-of-23 (60.9%) from the floor including 2-of-4 from 3-point range while connecting on 8-of-9 free throws. In Saturday's overtime win over Oberlin, Shannon scored a career-high 32 points including 21 in the second half and overtime.
DePauw returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 15, when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan at 8 p.m.
