Hiram, Ohio- Earning its second North Coast Athletic Conference victory of the season, the DePauw men's soccer team beat the Hiram College Terriers 4-1 on the road. The Tigers improve to 6-5-4 for the season and 2-1-3 in NCAC play, while the Terriers drop to 3-27 overall and 0-8 in conference play.

Three of the Tigers' four goals were netted in the first half. Nine minutes into regulation,
Jacob Fowler found the back of Hiram's net to put DePauw up 1-0. The Terriers' Matt Callan would knot the game at one in the 12th minute; however,
Joey Vehovsky would put the Tigers back on top with a goal in the 17th minute.

DePauw would tack on its third goal of the afternoon when
AJ Hockstok connected with
Matthew Fogo just before halftime. The Tigers' final goal of the day came from a penalty kick goal by
Sam Thiel, who is now 3-3 in penalty shot attempts for the season.

The Tigers had an edge over the Terriers in shots and corners, outshooting its opponent 16-7 and recording seven corner attempts to Hiram's five. In goal,
Alexander Lundin finished the day with four saves for DePauw, while the Terriers' Tyler Jurgensen tallied four saves of his own.

DePauw travels to Ohio Wesleyan on Tuesday, October 24, to play the Battling Bishops at 6 p.m.
