Greencastle, Ind.- In its final regular season home matchup, the DePauw field hockey team dropped its second North Coast Athletic Conference game to Ohio Wesleyan, 4-0. The Tigers move to 10-5 overall and 7-2 in conference play, while the Battling Bishops improve to 14-0 for the season and 8-0 in NCAC play.

Ohio Wesleyan found the back of DePauw's cage in the 14th minute when the Battling Bishops Olivia Danley gathered a rebounded shot to put Ohio Wesleyan up 1-0. The Battling Bishops scored its second goal in the 42nd minute of play when Colleen McMenamin beat the Tigers' defense and snuck a ball just past
Bella Lauber. Ohio Wesleyan would pull away in the fourth quarter when Danley assisted Brogan Heilig and Grace Ammon's goals in the 55th and 56th minutes.Â

Holding an edge over DePauw in shots and penalty corners, Ohio Wesleyan finished the afternoon outshooting the Tigers 17-8 and had eight penalty corner attempts, while DePauw finished with five.
Scarlett Oaks and Lauber split time in the cage for the Tigers; Oaks tallied four saves, while Lauber recorded three for the day. The Battling Bishops' Meg McCarthy finished the afternoon with five saves.

The Tigers travel to Danville, Kentucky, on Sunday, October 22, to face the University of Mary Washington. The two teams take to the field at 12:30 p.m.
