Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw field hockey team moved back into the win column after shutting out the Marian University Sabres in a 3-0 victory at home.

In the first period of play, the Tigers outshot the Sabres 4-1 and tallied three penalty corners while giving up zero penalty corners on the other end.

DePauw would score its first goal of the game in the 18th minute of play following a penalty corner scramble. In the scramble,
Marley Heitman collected the ball and put the ball back in play in front of the cage, which
Lilly Harris deflected into the cage for her first goal of the season.

Ashley Appleby to put DePauw up 2-0 at the half.

Allison Quackenbush recorded the Tigers' final goal of the game after May rushed the goal and slipped the ball to Quackenbush, giving DePauw a definitive 3-0 lead with just under six minutes left in regulation.

The Tigers finished the night with 12 corners and 11 shots on goal.
Bella Lauber recorded her second shutout and tallied two saves, while Marian's Brenna Abrahamson finished the night with seven.
