Greencastle, Ind.:Â Bouncing back from its loss on Saturday, the DePauw women's soccer team stunned the Wilmington College Fightin' Quakers 2-0 at Reavis Stadium.

The Tigers snapped the Fightin' Quakers' three-game win streak off of two set play goals.

DePauw's first goal came in the 61st minute of play following a corner kick.
Whitney Wells got the first touch following the corner, placing it in front of
Anissa Nourse, who chipped it in to put the Tigers up 1-0.

Three minutes later,
Grace Truax found Wells again off a corner kick, who headed it in to put DePauw up 2-0 with just over 25 minutes left in regulation.

As time ticked to zero, the physicality of the game picked up across the pitch, resulting in a yellow card for each team. Despite the persistence of the Fightin' Quakers, the Tigers held off its opponents, outshooting them 11 to 6 with seven of the shots on goal.

Emma St. John and Wilmington's Lauren Galloway finished the evening with four saves.

The Tigers remain undefeated at home and improve to 4-2-3 overall. DePauw travels to Wilmore, Ky., on Saturday, October 1, to face Asbury University at 1 p.m. EDT.Â
