Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw opened 2022 North Coast Athletic Conference volleyball play with a 3-0 (25-6, 25-23, 25-18) win over visiting Oberlin before Hanover topped the Tigers 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-16, 25-19) in the second match. DePauw is now 7-7 overall and 1-0 in the NCAC.

Olivia Karwin each had eight kills for the Tigers in the win over Oberlin, while
Kendall Herrick had 13 assists and
Avery Christy 12.
Grace Myers had four of DePauw's nine aces with Gansle leading the way with 11 digs.
Lauren Ridgway paced the squad with three blocks.
Andrea Jones led Oberlin with eight kills with Lucy Myers totaling 21 assists. Lindsey Felton had team highs of three aces and 12 digs.
DePauw outhit Oberlin .283-(-.020) and held a 36-25 edge in kills in the win.
Gansle and
Ashley Haas each had 11 kills in the Hanover match with Christy and Herrick each assisting on 19 kills. Haas also led the squad with four aces and three blocks with Myers pacing the team with 23 digs.Â
CC Shick led Hanover with 16 kills and hit .483 with Aubrey Walton totaling 18 assists and Maggie Schweitzer finishing with 17. Meredith Deckard had seven of the Panthers' 14 aces and Casey Dunn recorded 26 digs and Moly Schwarzkopf three blocks.
DePauw travels to Rose-Hulman on Sept. 28 for a 7 p.m. match against the Fightin' Engineers.
