Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw field hockey team fell to the Wittenberg Tigers 3-2 in a nail-biting overtime loss at Reavis Stadium.

After a scoreless first half between DePauw's,
Hailey Nowak found the back of the cage at the 33-minute mark off a rebounded shot. Three minutes later, the DePauw Tigers jumped to a two-goal lead after
Alexandra May slipped a goal past Wittenbergs' Caitlin Archdeacon.

Wittenberg's Katie Webber evened the score in the fourth quarter with two unassisted goals. The first came in the 46th minute and then seconds before the regulation's end.

Two minutes into the overtime, the Wittenberg Tigers put the game away off a penalty corner taken by Meredith Johnson, who found Regan Mazzulli for the game-winning goal.

Wittenberg's Archdeacon finished the night with ten saves, while DePauw's Scarlet Oaks tallied one save, and
Bella Lauber finished with two.

The DePauw Tigers move to 2-2 overall and travel to Oberlin, Ohio, on Saturday, September 17, to face the Yeowomen at noon.
