Angola, Ind. - DePauw lost a 3-1 (25-23, 17-25, 25-14, 25-22) match to Adrian before topping Trine 3-2 (18-25, 25-23, 25-14, 14-25, 15-10) at the NCAC/MIAA Crossover Challenge. The Tigers are now 5-3.Â
In the Adrian match, DePauw evened the match with a second-set win before the Bulldogs claimed the victory with wins in the third and fourth sets.
Olivia Karwin led DePauw with 10 kills and
Avery Christy totaled 13 assists.
Emma White served four of the Tigers' seven aces, while
Lauren Ridgway totaled four blocks and
Grace Myers had 21 digs.
Against Trine, Karwin led DePauw with 13 kills, while
Ashley Haas hit .455.
Emma White served six of the Tigers' nine aces with
Katie Gansle and
Grace Myers each finishing with 19 digs.
DePauw travels to Ohio Northern on Friday, Sept. 16, where it will face the host Polar Bears at 2 p.m. and Wisconsin-Oshkosh at 5:30 p.m.
