Delaware, Ohio - DePauw used a 13-0 third-quarter run to turn a five-piont deficit into an eight-point lead as the 12th-ranked Tigers won by a 71-53 score at Ohio Wesleyan. The Tigers improved to 22-2 overall and 15-0 in the NCAC, while the Battling Bishops fell to 19-6 overall and 12-4 in NCAC play.

Ohio Wesleyan scored the game's first seven points, but DePauw regrouped to take an 18-15 lead at the quarter break. The Tigers led by as many as six in the second quarter before heading to halftime with a 37-35 advantage.

The Battling Bishops opened the third with a 9-2 run to grab a 44-39 lead, but DePauw's Mya Shnnon hit a jumper before Ava Hassel added a 3-point play to event the count at 44-44. Hassel then followed with a jumper and another 3-point play and Moira McGinley chipped in a 3-point play to make it 52-44. The Tigers wrapped up the win by outscoring Ohio Wesleyan, 17-5, in the final stanza.

Shannon led the Tigers with 23 and Hassel followed with 16, Shannon and Maeve Summerville each grabbed five rebounds. Cierra Joiner scored 22 points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked six shots to lead Ohio Wesleyan. Lauren Denison added 15 points.

DePauw shot 46.3 percent from the floor to Ohio Wesleyan's 40.4 percent and the Tigers held a 30-26 rebounding edge and committed just 11 turnovers.

The Tigers enter the NCAC Tournament as the top seed and host College of Wooster at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, in a quarterfinal game.
