Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw and Wabash battle for the Monon Bell with kickoff slated for 1:07 p.m. this afternoon. The Tigers and Little Giants clash for the 128th time overall in a series that dates back to 1890. The squads are battling for the Monon Bell for the 90th time since the bell entered the rivalry just before the 1932 contest.
DePauw enters with an 8-1 overall record including 6-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference, while Wabash is 7-2 overall and also 6-1 in the NCAC. This marks the first time in the history of the rivalry that the teams meet in a winner-take-all game in terms of a conference championship and the league's automatic qualification into the NCAA Division III Championship.
