Gambier, Ohio- The DePauw field hockey team remains undefeated in North Coast Athletic Conference play after defeating the Kenyon College Owls 3-1 on the road.

The Tigers' first goal of the afternoon came in the 18th minute following a crisp corner sequence.
Lilly Harris gathered a pass around the striking circle and found
Margaret Volpe for her second goal of the season.

Four minutes later, DePauw's offensive pressure led to Harris finding the back of the cage, putting the Tigers up 2-0 before the half.

In the fourth quarter, Kenyon went on the attack outshooting DePauw 3-1. The Owls Grace Lane snuck a ball to Kiersten Hoffmann, cutting the Tigers' lead by one with two minutes left in regulation.

Amy Apfelbaum would put the game away after
Tiala Ortega split the Owls' defenders and found Ampfelbaum open for a late fourth-period goal.

DePauw finished the afternoon outshooting Kenyon 10-8; however, the Owls finished the game edging out the Tigers 5-2 in corner attempts.

Bella Lauber completed the afternoon with five saves, while the Owl's Payton Doan finished with three saves.

The Tigers improve to 6-4 overall, and 2-0 in NCAC play and travel to Wooster on Sunday, October 9, for a matchup between the Fighting Scots set for noon.
