Greencastle, Ind.:Â Extending its win streak to three, the DePauw women's soccer team finished its regular season play with its eighth shutout after beating the Hiram College Terriers 3-0. The Tigers' victory over the Terries helped them secure the No. 2 seed and hosting privileges for the NCAC Tournament semifinals.

The Tigers wasted no time finding the back of Hiram's net; in just two minutes of play,
Annalise Grammel beat her defender and snuck a cross to
Sydney Calisto, who buried a shot giving an early 1-0 lead.

DePauw tallied its second goal of the game in the 35th minute amid a scramble for a deflected ball;
Riley Hurst rebounded the deflection and volleyed the ball just past the Terriers' goalkeeper for a two-goal lead.Â

Up 2-0 at the start of the half, the Tigers put one more on the board when Grammel intercepted a pass intended for Hiram's backline, slipped pass a defender and found the top corner of the Terriers' net for the 3-0 lead.Â

DePauw finished the evening outshooting Hiram 20-5 and recorded seven corners to the Terriers' one.Â
In goal,
Emma St. John finished with a save, while Hiram's Skyler Huda had 11 saves in goal.

The Tigers improve to 10-4-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play and return to Reavis Stadium on Wednesday, November 2. The Tigers will host Ohio Wesleyan for its NCAC semifinal game, starting at 7 p.m.
