Delaware, Ohio - DePauw dropped to 8-11 overall and 2-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-1 (25-13, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20) loss at Ohio Wesleyan. The Battling Bishops dropped to 9-10 overall and 4-1 in the NCAC.
Olivia Karwin paced the Tigers with 12 kills with
Kenzie Myers chipping in 10. Karwin also led with 19 assists, while
Katie Gansle had three of DePauw's seven aces.
Lauren Ridgway had a team-high three blocks with
Grace Myers and
Avery Christy each totaling 11 digs.
Melissa Murray led Ohio Wesleyan with 13 kills with Lily Bechina totaling 42 assists. Bechina and Neah White each had three aces and Claire Solberg topping the squad with four blocks. White had a match-high 24 digs in the win.
The Battling Bishops outhit the Tigers, .244-.131 and held a narrow 48-46 edge in kills.
DePauw hosts Denison on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m.
