Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw dropped to 8-12 overall and 2-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-20) loss to Denison. The Big Red moved to 11-9 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
Olivia Karwin and
Ashley Haas each had five kills for the Tigers with
Avery Christy totaling 13 assists.
Katie Gansle led with three of the Tigers' six service aces, while
Emma White and
Grace Myers paced the defensive efforts with nine digs apiece.
Lauren Ridgway led with three blocks (1 solo, 2 assists).
Kelly McCaskey paced Denison with 16 kills with Sophie Tight assisting 28 times. Tight had three of the Big Red's six aces with Jenna Corrao totaling 28 digs. Lucy Anderson led with seven blocks (3 solo, 4 assists).
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 22, with a 1 p.m. NCAC match at Hiram.
