Box Score Meadville, Pa. - DePauw, ranked 13th by D3hoops.com and 14th in the coaches' poll, moved to 16-2 overall and 9-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with a 76-41 win at Allegheny. The Gators dropped to 4-15 overall and 1-10 in conference play.
The Tigers extended their win streak to five and completed a weekend road sweep. Allegheny scored first, but DePauw never trailed after scoring the next nine points.
DePauw held a 32-16 halftime advantage before shooting 54.8 percent in the second half as it pulled away for the win.
Mya Shanon led all scorers with 18 points, while Ainsley Boras added 10. Isabella Ogliore paced the Tigers with six rebounds as DePauw held a 42-28 advantage on the boards. Grace Kinsey, Maura Fitzgerald and Maddie Howe each had four assists in the win.
Alexis Caldwell recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Gators.
DePauw shot 46.7 percent for the game, while Allegheny hit just 27.1 percent of its field goal tries. The Tigers nailed 8-of-19 from 3-point range to the Gators' 1-of-13.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, February 4, when they host Hiram at 6 p.m.
