Tigers Named an ITA All-Academic Team; Eight Student-Athletes Earn Schol-Athlete Distinction

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's women's team was among 144 Division III programs to earn Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team honors, while eight Tigers were among over 1,000 on the Division III level to be recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

For the team award, programs must average at least a 3.2 or higher grade point average for the year.

The Tigers' ITA Scholar-Athlete honorees include Paige Bennett, Erin Friedrich, Katherine Price, Kiley Shaw, Amanda Showalter, Kate Stanley, Ellen Trautman and Kat Wilder.

For individuals to be eligible they must have at least a 3.50 grade point average for the year.

As I started looking at colleges my junior year of high school, each school I visited felt like there was something missing. However, visiting DePauw again reassured my love, interest, and pride for the campus and its people.
