Oxford, Ohio - Paced by Kinder Jones' individual title, DePauw shot a two-round 592 (298-294) and finished second among 12 teams at the Mount St. Joseph Spring Invite at Indian Ridge Golf Club. Ohio Dominican won with a 589 (298-291).
Jones shared the individual lead with a 143 (73-70) with Franklin's Alan Showalter, but Jones was declared the individual champion based on a "scorecard playoff". Jones posted nine birdies over the two rounds.
James Gilmore tied for 13th with a 150 (72-78), while Jacob Kelber tied for 18th at 151 (75-76). Grant Germano finished in a tie for 23rd with a 152 (78-74) and Marcus Tan tied for 38th with a 156 (82-74).
Playing as individuals, Drew Hudgins was 12th at 149 (70-79) while Mason Meadows (77-74) and Brooks Coats (75-76) each tied for 18th. Wyatt Harris tied for 30th at 153 (77-76) with Jaxon Stutz tying for 38th with a 156 (79-77).
DePauw faces Ohio Wesleyan on Thursday, March 24, at the Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio.
