Box Score Wooster, Ohio - DePauw totaled 449 yards of offense and held host Wooster to just 210 on the way to a 37-3 exhibition game win over the Fighting Scots.
The Tigers jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first as quarterback Chase Andries scored on a 7-yard run and then tossed a 5-yard scoring pass to Cam Haynes. Haynes was then on the receiving end of an Andries 21-yard touchdown pass with 17 seconds left in the half to push the lead to 20-0.
Will Schmidt and Gabe Quigley rushed for touchdowns in the third and Jack Drake booted a 19-yard field goal in the fourth. Wooster tacked on a late field goal for the game's final score.
Andries competed 17 of 26 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another 41, Schmidt led all rushers with 97 yards in 20 carries. Josh Major caught five passes for 70 yards, while Devon Valentine hauled in four.
Wooster's Mateo Renteria completed 11 of 27 passes for 86 yards including five to EJ Humphries for 28 yards. Troy Baughman rushed for 30 yards on 11 tries.
Nathan Seifert led the DePauw defense with seven tackles, while Tyler Myers and Joe Zanca each totaled five. Dylan Hyatt and Ben Higgins each picked off one pass in the win. Langston Williams paced Wooster with 10 tackles.
