Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw, ranked 25th in the latest D3Football.com poll, travels to Crawfordsville on Saturday, November 13, for the annual Monon Bell Game in the 127th renewal of one of college football's most-storied rivalries which dates to 1890.
The Tigers enter tomorrow's contest with an 8-1 overall record and an 8-0 North Coast Athletic Conference mark following last Saturday's 66-13 home win over Oberlin. DePauw clinched the outright NCAC title with the win and the conference's automatic qualification into the NCAA Division III Championship. Wabash eners the contest with a 6-3 overall record including 5-3 in the NCAC. Kickoff at sold-out Little Giant Stadium is set for 1:07 p.m. as the teams clash for the 89th time for possession of the Monon Bell which entered the series in 1932.
Wabash holds a 62-55-9 series lead including a 43-39-6 advantage in games played for possession of the Monon Bell after
DePauw's 17-13 win in 2019. The teams didn't play in 2020 due to the global pandemic which marked the first year since 1910 that the two schools hadn't faced each other on the gridiron.
