Box Score Granville, Ohio - DePauw shot over 57 percent from the field in the first half in building a 24-point lead and the Tigers collected their 19th straight win with a 70-52 North Coast Athletic Conference victory at Denison. The Tigers moved to 23-1 overall and 15-0 in the NCAC, while the Big Red dropped to 16-8 overall and 10-5 in the conference.
The Tigers never trailed in the contest as they got out to an 11-4 advantage and led, 19-12, at the quarter break behind 13 points from Sydney Kopp.
DePauw put together a 19-2 run in the second to expand the lead to 38-16. The Tigers went to the halftime intermission with a 45-21 lead. DePauw hit 11 of 17 from the floor in the quarter with just one turnover.
The Tigers' lead reached as many as 28 points at 52-24 after Campbell Montgomery's bucket with 6:38 left in the third.
Kopp led the Tigers with 27 and moved her season total to 528 to top the DePauw single-season record of 519 set by Liz Bondi in 2005-06. Mya Shannon followed with 13 with Claire Keefe adding 12 and Montgomery 10. Keefe grabbed nine rebounds with Grace Kinsey and Natalie Kehrt each handing out four assists.
Lily Morris paced Denison with 13 points and Zyah Beal followed with 12.
DePauw shot 50.9 percent from the floor to Denison's 36.5 percent and the Tigers held a 41-26 edge on the boards.
The Tigers travel to Wooster on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.
