35th-Ranked DePauw Moves to NCAC Semifinals with 5-0 Win over Wooster

Indianapolis, Ind. - DePauw, ranked 35th in Division III, advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Semifinals with a 5-0 quarterfinal win over Wooster. the Tigers moved to 10-11, while the Fighting Scots dropped to 11-6.

The Tigers swept doubles play as Megan Galle and Sarah Wilder topped Qingyue Li and Shannon Sertz at the first spot by an 8-5 score and the second tandem of Colleen Morris and Emma Love defeated Laura Haley and Sarah Duran, 8-0. The third doubles team of Ali Bush and Grace Haigh were 8-3 winners over Meklit Minassie and Emma Saxton.

DePauw wrapped up the win as Wilder defeated Haley at fourth singles 6-1, 6-3 and Lily Cameron topped Saxton 6-1, 6-0 at sixth singles.

The third-seeded Tigers face second-seeded Denison tomorrow at 9 a.m.
