DePauw in Fourth at NCAC Championships; 400 Medley Relay Earns All-Conference

Granville, Ohio - Through two days of competition at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, DePauw has totaled 339 points and is fourth among the nine competing schools. Denison leads with 714 points, while Kenyon is second with 559 and Wabash third with 341.

Tommy Hackley has posted the Tigers' top individual finish after placing seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:39.15). Charlie Stewart-Bates was 11th in the event (4:42.02) and Jack Christie 12th (4:4.75).

Adam Pircon turned in a 12th-place in the 200 individual medley (1:54.68) with Josh McCown 13th (1:55.92). Ryan Smith recorded the Tigers' top finish in the 50 free after finishing 16th (21.26). Will Serf was 18th (21.75).

In Wednesday's opening evening of competition, DePauw's 800 free relay of Pircon, Serf, Matt Wilson and Hackley was fourth in 6:53.15. Today, DePauw's 400 medley relay of Pircon, Xavier Fuller, Ian Longan and Jake Frech earned all-NCAC honors by placing third in 3:26.18. The Tigers' 200 free relay of Serf, Pircon, Smith and Frech was sixth in 1:24.69.
