Tigers Complete Weekend Sweep with Win over Bethel

Elkhart, Ind. - Following Friday night's win over Wabash, DePauw completed the weekend sweep with a 149-93 win over Bethel (Ind.).

Will Serf posted a pair of firsts in the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:43.36) and the 200 backstroke (2:04.61).

Also collecting firsts for the Tigers were Jake Frech (200 free/1:49.87), Alex Bowling (100 back/58.88), Xavier Fuller (100 breaststroke/1:03.35), Nikita Polyakov (200 butterfly/2:06.39), Patrick Unterreiner (100 free/50.92), Seth Fagen (500 free/5:06.89) and Ben Mennitt (100 fly/55.43). 

The Tigers' 200 medley relay of Bowling, Fuller, Mennitt and Frech opened the meet with a win in 1:42.98.

DePauw returns to action November 22-24 at the University of Chicago's Phoenix Fall Classic.

I chose DePauw for its strong academics and after visiting it for the first time I fell in love with the campus. I also chose DePauw for its strong swim program and I felt that everyone on the team had a really strong connection and Coach Cohen is fantastic as well.
