29th-Ranked Tigers Fall to 32nd-Ranked Warhawks

Hilton Head, S.C. – The 29th-ranked DePauw women's tennis team lost a close 5-4 match to 32nd-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater on Wednesday.

DePauw claimed three-set singles wins in the four through six flights. At No. 4, Megan Galle defeated Jillian Wallace 1-6, 6-1, 1-0 (11-9). Meredith Breda won at the No. 5 flight 0-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5), and at No. 6 Sarah Wilder took a 7-6, 3-6, 1-0 (10-2) win.

Colleen Morris and Ali Bush gave DePauw their lone doubles win in the No. 3 spot 8-1.

DePauw falls to 3-7 overall, while Wisconsin-Whitewater improves to 13-3. The Tigers head to Wisconsin for the Midwest Invitational next the weekend of April 6.
