#23 DePauw Finishes Third at Phoenix Classic

Chicago, Ill. - DePauw totaled 747 points and finished third at the Phoenix Fall Classic hosted by University of Chicago. Chicago won with 1,322.5 and Lewis was second with 973.

Adam Pircon had DePauw's top finish of the day as he was second in the 100-yard backstroke (51.16), while Seth Fagen was sixth in the event (52.87), Ian Longan seventh (53.00) and Ryan Smith ninth (53.20). Longan was also fifth in the 100 butterfly (50.42).

Josh McCown was fifth in the 400 individual medley (4:11.99) and Ben Hilfinger placed sixth (4:12.90). 

Matt Wilson touched ninth in the 200 freestyle (1:45.29), while Jake Frech was 10th (1:46.15).

The Tigers' 400 free relay of Will Serf, Tommy Hackley, Wilson and Pircon finished the meet in sixth (3:10.76).
