Angola, Ind. - Sydney Kopp posted a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead 13th-ranked DePauw to a 59-47 win over Otterbein. The Tigers moved to 2-0, while Otterbein dropped to 0-2.

Otterbein evened the score at 28-28 early in the third period, but DePauw put together a 10-2 run to take a 38-30 lead. The Tigers took a 46-35 advantage into the final period.

The Cardinals got as close as eight at 48-40 before Kopp hit a jumper and a 3-pointer and Mya Shannon added a bucket to push the lead to 55-40 with 3:30 remaining.

Kopp's 24 points came on 9-of-14 shooting from the floor including 6-of-9 3-point shooting. Shannon added 14 off the bench, while Natalie Kehrt and Maya Howard each dished out three assists. 

Ali Cartbal led Otterbein with 16 points followed by Dani Kissel with 12 and Jacy Jones with 10. Bryn Mangold grabbed seven rebounds.

DePauw shot 35.8 percent from the floor to Otterbein's 29.0 and the Tigers outrebounded Otterbein, 48-35.

The Tigers take on ninth-ranked Trine tomorrow at 5 p.m.
