Greencastle, Ind. – The DePauw women's tennis team improved to 2-2 on the season following a 7-2 win over Centre on Friday.
Maddie Lee won at No. 1 singles 2-6, 6-0, 10-5 and at No. 1 doubles pairing with Gretchen Wilder 8-3.
Wilder lost her match at No. 2 singles 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.
The Tigers lost at No. 2 doubles but took the No. 3 flight for an early 2-1 lead as Megan Galle and Sarah Wilder won 8-2.
Galle went on to win at No. 5 singles 6-0, 6-1. Ali Bush won by the same score at No. 3 singles.
Lastly, Colleen Morris won at No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-4, and Meredith Breda won at No. 6 singles 6-3, 4-6, 10-5.
The Tigers are home for the remainder of the weekend, playing Wooster on Saturday and Oberlin on Sunday.
