Indianapolis, Ind. - DePauw opened the dual match portion of its schedule with a 6-3 win at Marian. The Knights dropped to 5-1.
The Tigers took a 2-1 lead after doubles as Alyssa Seneviratne and Meredith Breda took an 8-6 win over Maria Lueken and Grace Neathery at second doubles, while Ali Bush and Sarah Wilder were 8-5 victors over Maria Angela Sunga and Anna Potter at the third spot.
In singles play, Maddie Lee defeated Maria Lueken 6-2, 6-1 at number one with Bush topping Audrey Rang 6-4, 6-2 at third singles.
Colleen Morris beat Sunga at fifth singles by a 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (10-3) score and Sarah Wilder was a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Emma Wood at the sixth spot.
DePauw returns to action Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich.
