#15 Tigers Blank Allegheny

Hilton Head Island, S.C. - The 15th-ranked Tigers moved to 4-4 on the season with a 9-0 win over Allegheny. The Gators dropped to 2-6.

The Tigers lost just two games in the three doubles matches as Maddie Lee and Gretchen Wilder took an 8-2 win over Andrea Brush and Mikaela Pope at the first spot followed by 8-0 wins at second and third.

Alyssa Senevirante and Ali Bush blanked Michaela Thompson and Heidi Mueller at second doubles and the tandem of Colleen Morris and Megan Galle topped Kirstie Oravec and Abby Lange at the third spot.

All six singles matches were decided in straight sets as the Tigers dropped just 14 games.

At first singles, Lee defeated Brush 6-4, 6-2 with Senevirante taking a 6-1, 6-4 win over Pope at number two. Wilder defeated Thompson 6-1, 6-0 at third singles with Morris blanking Mueller 6-0, 6-0 at the fourth spot.

Bush was a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Oravec at fifth singles with Galle topping Jasmine Burton 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.

DePauw returns to the courts tomorrow against 26th-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater in a 9 a.m. match on Hilton Head Island.
