Granville, Ohio - The 11th-ranked Tigers advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament championship match for the third straight season after blanking Kenyon, 5-0. DePauw faces #26 Denison in Sunday's Noon title match.
The Tigers opened with a doubles sweep with first and second going to a tiebreaker. Caroline Emhardt and Maggie MacPhail topped Jenna Murray and Taylor Diffley at first dobules 9-8 (7-5), while the second doubles duo of Meg Crowley and Claire Marshall defeated Madison Hoffman and Samantha Murphy 9-8 (7-2). Julie Wittwer and Kaitlin Pickrel were 8-1 victors over Elise Altschuler and Abigail Younger at the number-three spot.
Emhardt topped Samanatha Betts 6-1, 6-0 at five singles, while Witter was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Heather Fantry at sixth singles to wrap up the team win.
