Hilton Head Island, S.C. - Tenth-ranked DePauw dropped all three doubles matches and the first singles to trail Wisconsin-Whitewater, 4-0, but won the remaining five singles matches to take a 5-4 victory over the Warhawks. DePauw improved to 9-2, while Whitewater dropped to 12-2.
Claire Marshall picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win over Megan Humphreys at second singles, while Meg Crowley topped Jackie Vitale at ther third spot 6-4, 6-3. Caroline Emhardt came back to defeat Erika Williams in three sets 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 at fourth singles while Carolyn Huerth was a 6-1, 6-3 victor over Amy Upthagrove at number five and Julie Wittwer took a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Jessica Vitale at number six.
The Tigers return to the courts on Wednesday, March 26, when they take on Concordia (Wis.).
