February 6, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — The seventh-ranked DePauw men defeated Rose-Hulman by a 192-99 score at the Erdmann Natatorium and finished the dual meet portion of their schedule with a 7-2 record.
The Tigers swept both relays as Steve Klabak, Matt Kukurugya, Brendan Flores and John Cook started the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:37.67. Josh Baugh, Johnny Montgomery, Klabak and Cook wrapped up the meet with a first in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:10.17.
Robby Spichiger won the 200 free in 1:46.02 and the 200 backstroke in 2:05.74, while Klabak took first in the 100 backstroke in 55.61 seconds and Baugh won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.85.
Cook won the 50 free in 21.63 seconds with Montgomery finishing first in the 100 free in 47.79 seconds and Kukurugya winning the 200 breast in 2:15.34. Kyle Kerrigan won the 500 free in 5:00.53 as did Charlie Boehme in the 400 individual medley in 4:19.88. Adam Wishart won the one-meter diving competition with 250.55 points.
DePauw competes in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, February 17-20, in Louisville, Ky.
