September 17, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw, ranked 20th in the latest D3football.com Top 25 Poll, opens the home and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference portion of its gridiron schedule when it hosts Centre, on Saturday, September 19. Kickoff from Blackstock Stadium is set for 1 p.m.

The Tigers are 1-0 on the season following last Saturday's 55-7 win at Anderson. In that game, DePauw set school records for total offense yards (665), passing yards (494) and passing touchdowns (6).

Centre is 2-0 after Saturday's 24-17 home win over Maryville (Tenn.). The Colonels opened the season with a come-from-behind victory over Hanover.

Fans at Blackstock can also take part in the Tiger Walk tradition. They're invited to cheer on the team as they make the pregame walk from the Lilly Center to the stadium. Fans should plan on lining Hanna Street by Blackstock no later than 10:30 a.m.
