April 6, 2009, Madison, Wis. — The 13th-ranked Tigers finished third at the Midwest Invitational over the weekend as they opened with a 9-0 win over 16th-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater, lost to fifth-ranked Chicago by a 5-1 score in the semifinals before topping 17th-ranked Gustavus Adolphus, 5-3, in the third-place match.
The 10-8 Tigers return to action on Tuesday, April 7, when they host Rose-Hulman at 6:30 p.m. The match was originially scheduled to be played at Rose-Hulman.
