March 19, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —  The 4-4 Tigers remained 16th in the latest Campbell's/ITA Division III Women's Tennis Rankings.

DePauw is also fourth in the first Central Region rankings of the spring behind Chicago, Denison and Washington-St. Louis. All four of the Tigers' losses this season have come at the hands of schools ranked 18th or better in the nation

Individually, Janelle Arita (pictured) is fifth in singles in the region, while Greer Mackie is 22nd and Kelly Gebert is 30th. Mackie and Kayla Smith are second, regionally, in doubles, while Arita and Gebert are 11th.

The Tigers return to action on Monday, March 23, with matches against Carleton and Oberlin on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
