March 2, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - The seventh-ranked Tigers suffered their first loss of the season after dropping an 8-1 decision to Divison II's sixth-ranked California (Pa.). DePauw fell to 6-1 with the loss, while California improved to 11-0.

DePauw's lone win came at number three doubles as Kristine Lewry and Greer Mackie topped Nina Kowalski and Laurie Navarro by a 9-7 score.

The Tigers host Ferris State on Friday, March 7, at 4:30 p.m.
